No Al Muro – McAllen, TX
Trump visited the southern border city of McAllen, TX while pursuing $5B in funding for a border wall which, of course, resulted in the longest shutdown of the federal government.
Trump’s supporters and counter-protesters lined either side of the demonstration area, later co-mingling in confusion when Trump’s motorcade emerged from a driveway at the local airport.
One of the tensest protest situations we’ve attended. At least 2 arrests, and caught on our camera. Murmurs of possible domestic terror threat interdicted by law enforcement; what’s the narrative of politically-motivated aggression by Trump supporters?

El Paso Gets Its Beto Back
At the end of August, Beto O’Rourke concluded a 34-day tour of town halls across Texas with a high-energy event at Downtown El Paso’s 501 Bar & Bistro. Welcoming back their U.S. Representative, El Pasoans joined together for a jovial occasion only fitting of a homecoming! Here are a couple of our images from the event:
Poli Pix ventured out to TX-23 to support Will Hurd’s Democratic challenger, Gina Ortiz-Jones with some event photography during a supporter event at Villareal Icehouse in Helotes, TX.
Gina has an incredible story, being a first-generation American born to immigrant parents and a former intelligence officer and Obama administration official.
